What We Believe

ABOUT GOD . . . We believe there is only one God, Creator and Sovereign over all. He is eternal and exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God is all-mighty, all knowing and everywhere present. God is love, mercy, righteous and holy.
JESUS CHRIST . . . We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s son, co-equal with God, died for our sins, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and will return to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
HOLY SPIRIT . . . We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with God and His son Jesus. He is our comforter, guide, teacher and sustainer. He abides within us and walks with us in our daily life. He convicts us of sin and leads us into all righteousness.
THE BIBLE . . . We believe the Bible to be God’s inspired inerrant infallible word for all things pertaining to faith and life. The Bible is God’s written revelation of Himself to the world.
SALVATION . . . We believe in Salvation by grace. Grace is God’s unearned favor toward sinful man. Since salvation is by grace; then it is a gift from God. Since God bases our relationship with Him on grace it is a love relationship that God desires, not a list of rules.
